The Edgo Atrium Building, Edgo’s Headquarters and one of a handful of buildings in Jordan to have been awarded the LEED certificate for its environmentally friendly design, was honored at an event held at the Four Seasons hotel in Amman on Monday 24 April.

The Jordan Green Building Council (JGBC) member of the World Green Building Council, that promotes green building practices, awarded the Edgo Atrium building a Certification of Appreciation, as one of six buildings in Jordan which holds certification from the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).

The Edgo Atrium was awarded Gold certification by LEED for implementing effective strategies in design, construction and management to ensure the building met high standards for reducing natural resource consumption and created a good working environment for staff.

LEED is the most renowned international programs used to measure the environmental friendliness of buildings.
