Following the success of last year’s events, Pink October will again return to Amman’s Abdali district from 22 – 24 October 2023.

The events, organized by Edgo, in partnership with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF), the Jordan Breast Cancer Program (JBCP) and the Abdali Developers’ Association (ADA) start with a Pink Walk at 10am on Sunday 22 October, where employees of local businesses come together to walk a 1km route from the Edgo Atrium, around the streets of Abdali to show support and raise awareness of the disease. Last year’s events attracted hundreds of participants and many local businesses who supported the walkers with refreshments and gifts.

A number of other events have been organized during the three-day campaign which include:

  • A pop-up breast examination clinic which will be located at the Edgo Atrium Building on Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 October, offering free examinations by staff from the King Hussein Cancer Center
  • A Hope shop, located in the lobby of the Edgo Atrium Building on Sunday 22 October and in the Abdali Mall on Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 October, where gifts can be purchased to support the breast cancer awareness campaign
  • A Wall of Hope, situated in the lobby of the Edgo Atrium, which will allow tenants of the building and members of the public to make donations to help the fight against breast cancer and add a flower and message to a unique and symbolic ‘Wall of Hope, which will be presented to KHCF during the Pink October events.

The Pink Walk will start at The Edgo Atrium, 1 Rafic Hariri Street, Abdali. Once again this year the Pink October events are made possible by the support of a range of local businesses.
