DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, May 9th\, APEX Reinsurers and Consultants held a seminar for The Edgo Atrium (EAB) tenants and members of the Abdali Development Association giving attendees an in-depth insight into APEX’ insurance services. \nThe two-hour seminar\, provided by Mr. Yacoub Sawalha and Ms. Rasha Barjawi\, covered various topics including general and liability insurance as well as medical insurance. Both presentations were interactive and were followed by an extensive Q&A session. \nThe APEX seminar was one of a series of events held regularly at EAB. SUMMARY:Traffic Police Volunteer Program Workshop at The Edgo Atrium
DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, November 26\, Edgo group managing director\, Omar Masri\, hosted representatives of the Public Security Directorate’s Central Traffic Department (CTD) in Jordan\, as part of a workshop to introduce the Traffic Police Volunteer Program for tenants of The Edgo Atrium (EAB) as well as staff from the Abdali Investment and Development PSC. \nAs opening remarks\, Omar spoke about the ethos of citizenship\, one’s duties and responsibilities\, as well as the differences between being a passive member of society versus an active one.  Furthermore\, he said that enrolling in the Traffic Police Volunteer Program and becoming a certified Traffic Agent is a golden opportunity to help make one’s community\, city\, and country safer. \nEstablished in the early nineties and reporting to the Public Security Directorate\, the Traffic Agent was created in order to actively engage citizens with the Traffic Police.  There are approximately 4\,000 members in Jordan\, and they are authorized to represent the CTD and issue traffic violations and fines. \nCTD Director\, Brigadier General Samir Bino\, along with his colleague\, Lieutenant Colonel\, Jalal Al Rahahleh\, presented the audience with statistics of traffic accidents and related deaths and injuries due to wrong traffic practices and disregard for traffic rules. He pointed out that the CTD strives to spread traffic awareness across the Kingdom.  The workshop\, which saw the active participation of the attendees\, included a short film displaying some of the fatal errors that some drivers commit and the role of citizens in altering such behaviors. \nAttending the workshop were representatives from American Express\, Regus\, Emirates Airline\, Abdali Investment and Development PSC\, as well as members of the Edgo team. \nThe Traffic workshop\, which follows a cancer awareness event held recently at EAB\, is part of a series of regular and complimentary seminars and workshops for EAB tenants and the wider Abdali District community.

SUMMARY:Cancer Awareness Event at The Edgo Atrium
DESCRIPTION:On the 22nd of May\, Edgo hosted an awareness session at The Edgo Atrium (EAB) carried out by the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) for Edgo staff as well as tenants of EAB. \nTwo representatives from KHCC explained what to look out for and how and when to do checkups. The presentation was followed by a lively Q&A session. The event was well attended by Edgo team members and staff from American Express\, Emirates and Regus.\n\nKHCC is the leading cancer center in the Middle East region\, providing adult and child patients with state of the art comprehensive cancer care for all types of cancer.\n\n Attendees found the session to be very informative. It was also a great opportunity for Edgo staff to meet and get to know their neighboring colleagues.

SUMMARY:Edgo Hosts SkyGarden BBQ Lunch
DESCRIPTION:The Edgo Atrium’s SkyGarden hosted its first event of the summer season with a lunch for 115 guests last week. \nThe lunch was attended by tenants of The Edgo Atrium\, members of the newly-established Abdali Developers Association (ADA) and the Edgo team. Guests enjoyed stunning views over Amman and a delicious barbeque lunch. \nThe lunch is the first in a series of events planned at the SkyGarden\, which is situated on the 7th floor of The Edgo Atrium and offers staff \nand guests a sanctuary to enjoy fresh air and green space in the heart of Amman’s Abdali district.
