Laylak Art, contemporary art specialists based in Amman and led by Ms. Laila Masri, will, from this week, be transforming the lobby area of The Edgo Atrium into a gallery space exhibiting six new pieces of artwork by local artists.
The works exhibited will be rotated on a six monthly basis and will feature a range of works in different mediums. Among the works currently on view are ‘A Slice of Life’ and ‘The Gate to my House’ both mixed media installations by Dana Rousan, an Amman-based artist who trained in France and has an award-winning career in graphic design, advertising and television.
Also on display is ‘Bridal Cushion’ by Nisreen and Nermeen Abudail. The piece features delicate, hand-finished embroidery inspired by cushions traditionally given to brides on their wedding days.
All the works on displayed are available to buy.
